Andritz Hydro Hammerfest bags MeyGen contract

Atlantis, owner of the world's largest planned tidal current energy project, MeyGen, and tidal energy equipment supplier, Andritz Hydro Hammerfest have signed a contract to supply three 1.5 megawatt tidal power turbines for Phase 1A of the MeyGen project in the Pentland Firth in Scotland.

Atlantis also has signed a turbine supply agreement to supply one of its own 1.5MW tidal power turbines for Phase 1A of the MeyGen project. Contract commencement is contingent on achieving financial close.

Atlantis continues to work closely with all relevant financing and contracting parties to reach financial close for Phase 1A of MeyGen, the an Atlantis statement.
